HISTORY:
One of the many Green Lanterns in the three billion year history of the Corps to serve Space Sector 2814, the Green Lantern of 2473 A.D. was from an Earth colony of his era.
The Green Lantern was on Earth to prevent the theft of the "Raxalus Wings" the most valuable piece of sculpture in the 25th century. To his surprise, the artwork was stolen not by the Reverse-Flash, but by his idol, Hal Jordan, Green Lantern of Earth in the late 20th century. Jordan couldn't explain his actions, and soon the Green Lanterns fought. The 20th cenury Green Lantern was apparantly disintegrated by his future counterpart.
Jordan had come to the 25th century with the second Flash, Barry Allen. Together they were investigating a "syntho-steed", a synthetic racing animal that had been let loose in the 20th century. The only hope to defeat it laid with its' creator, the Eobard Thawyne, also known as Professor Zoom or the Reverse-Flash.
Professor Zoom agreed to stop the menace in the past if Jordan would steal the Raxalus Wings for him. This Jordan did, which led to his conflict with the 25th century Green Lantern.
In the 20th century, Zoom assisted the Flash in stopping the synthetic animal. Jordan arrived from the future with the sculpture. The yellow wings couldn't be protected from the stresses of time travel, and soon crumbled to dust.
Angered at the destruction of the art, Zoom let slip details of his failed plan. His scheme revealed, Zoom was caught by the Flash and brought to the 25th century to face justice.
In the future, Hal Jordan revealed he had escaped the Green Lantern's ring blast by commanding his own ring to automatically teleport him back to the 20th century if he was struck by an emerald power beam.
