HISTORY:
Taking almost a century to perfect, the Anti-Green Lantern Corps was developed by the Weaponers of Qward. The anti-ring power itself was black light.
The rings appeared to be able to do everything a Green Lantern's power ring could do. Although their rings were powerful, they had one fatal flaw. The rings required great willpower to make them work, so the Weaponers had to boost the brain capacities of their soldiers. This unfortunately burned out the soldiers. As the rings lost their power over 24 hours, the soldiers would die as well.
The Weaponers captured Hal Jordan, who at that time was considering leaving the Green Lantern Corps, to examine his ring to perfect their Corps. In exchange for his help, Jordan's planet would be spared. Jordan did not go along with the Weaponers' plans, and attempted to destroy the Power Battery. He was blocked by the over two thousand Anti-Green Lanterns.
Jordan escaped with the Anti-Green Lanterns in pursuit. He was rescued by Arisia of Graxos IV, and explained to her that he was sent undercover by the Guardians of the Universe to learn of the Qwardians' plans. Together they would warn the Green Lantern Corps.
At the portal between universes, Jordan was attacked by the Qwardian St'nlli, who had the power to alter his foes' mind to evil. Now changed, Jordan attacked Arisia.
Arisia was rescued by the Green Lantern Corps, who had tracked her since Oa. Together, they turned Jordan back to normal.
Almost one hundred Green Lanterns battled their over two thousand anti-matter counterparts. Breaking off from the others in the Corps, Arisia, Hal Jordan, and Katma Tui to destroy the Main Power Battery. Their rings now powerless, the Anti-Green Lantern Corps was defeated.

Something a little different here folks, thought I'd take a trip on the dark side of the force, as it were. OK, these guys have had dealings with the Guardians before Hal Jordan and Sinestro ever showed up...and it took them 100 years to come up with this?
No wonder their heroes are Sinestro and the Anti-Monitor.
