PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Eyes: black

KNOWN RELATIVES: none

HISTORY:

Little is known about the supervillain called Captain Challenge. Possessing above average strength and access to advanced technological weapons, Captain Challenge had fought two Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan of the Green Lantern Corps and Alan Scott, the Golden Age Green Lantern in unrecorded adventures.

In his final and only documented appearance, Captain Challenge's criminal activities were opposed by both ring wielders. The Green Lanterns tracked Captain Challenge to his hideout, forcing Challenge to expend all his power in a failed attempt to keep the heroes at bay. Though Challenge got the drop on Hal Jordan with an energy weapon, the elder Green Lantern was not the "old has-been" the villain dismissed him as. Alan Scott knocked Challenge out with an uppercut to the jaw.

Captain Challenge was taken to the nearest police precinct where the villain would be held until he faced trial. Captain Challenge has not been heard from since.
