HISTORY:

Gala De, the Green Lantern of Loga 14, was killed while attempting to stop a starship that was powered by the brain-electricity of it's unwilling passengers. He died when the ship open fired on him with a Xantha-Charge cannon. The starship was later defeated by the Green Lantern of Earth, Hal Jordan with Green Arrow and Black Canary.
