Green Lantern material is all over the place these days! Just the way we like it. The biggest news bulletin right now is the anticpation for the..

New SPECTRE series and NEW CORPS

Early next year DC will unveil the long-awaited monthly Spectre series staring Hal Jordan, written by J.M. DeMatteis! Preceding that will be a four issue arc in Legends of the DCU devoted to the new Specte, also by DeMatteis. Before that, GLC fans can look forward to this summer's RING OF FIRE, a Green Lantern 5th Week Event by Brian Vaughan. The seven issue event places Kyle Rayner, Atom, Firestorm, Power Girl and Adam Strange up against a cosmic threat that could be of Kyle's own creation. The storyline, according to Vaughan, will introduce six new Green Lanterns!

The GLCWP is excited to see Hal Jordan in comics again, as a hero, even in this strange and (very) unexpected form. We look forward to the new SPECTRE series and where it will take Hal. We hope to one day see Hal Jordan as a Green Lantern again, along with Kyle and the rest of the Corps. If you do, too, show DC your support by signing the Petition!

Thanks to DC Comics Online for most of the previews and pics!
