HISTORY:
Larvox was a Green Lantern from a world where sentient life developed from insects, bacteria, and plants. Sputan sexuality has no "male" or "female" gender. A frequent attendee of the Green Lantern conferences on Yquem, Larvox joined its fellow ring wielders in battle against Sinestro, the renegade Green Lantern. On Yquem, Larvox first met Abin Sur's successor, Hal Jordan, Green Lantern of Earth.

Larvox was an experienced Green Lantern, defending Oa and the Guardians of the Universe from the invasion of the Weaponers of Qward in the Power War. The Green Lantern of Sputa involved itself in many decisions regarding the Corps. Larvox fought valiantly in one of the greatest battles in the Green Lantern Corps' 3.5 billion year history, the war against Krona and Nekron, Lord of the Unliving.

After the return of the Guardians from their self-exile, Larvox and Chaselon of Barrio III were among the few veteran Green Lanterns chosen by Hal Jordan to join the new Green Lantern Corps. The role of the new Corps was debated. During a mission in space, Larvox intended to kill the Weaponers they had captured. He was challenged by Brik of Dryad, who wished to follow the lead of Hal Jordan and spare the lives of the Qwardians. It was later revealed that Jordan had staged the mission as a training session for his fellow Green Lanterns.

To increase the membership of the Green Lantern Corps, each Green Lantern was required to recruit twelve new members. Amanita of Muscaria, a sentient fungus, was one of Larvox's first candidates. The new Green Lantern Corps almost fell during a Qwardian invasion of Oa, but would find itself united in the fight against the personification of Entropy.

Larvox was a fierce protector of his sector. He faced off against a Laroo armada intent on the destruction of Hal Jordan's friend Itty and his mate, the last of the Lasma race.

The Green Lantern Corps went on to battle against, then alongside, the Darkstars and the L.E.G.I.O.N. The three teams battled the Maltusian gods known as The Triarch.

After the fall of the Green Lantern Corps, Larvox joined the Darkstars.
